Virtual Clinical Supervision for Counselors Across North Carolina
During supervision, I desire to provide quality guidance and encouragement to help therapists at all levels grow and develop their counseling skills; enabling them to become talented professionals that help and support even more people. For me, it is a honor and privilege to give back to the counseling profession through supervision, as the counseling process has transformed my life and the lives of so many others.
I am enthusiastic about teaching and training interns and counseling associates in the effective and interactive strategies they need to succeed as counselors. As a qualified supervisor, I have more than forty-five coursework hours in formal supervisory education, including video supervision. I’m specially trained in providing distance (online) supervision, which offers convenience and efficiency to the supervision process.
Like with counseling, my approach to supervision is eclectic, meaning I enjoy teaching a wide variety of therapeutic techniques and theories like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT); Person-Centered Therapy; and solution focused counseling. Furthermore, my Christian faith is an important element of how I view the world and life and I believe that spiritual insights are helpful upon request for Christian supervision. I believe each person is a unique individual who has had unique experiences. Therefore, supervision should be unique and individualized as well. This means supervision will be collaborative in nature and we’ll discuss your special gifting and make decisions together.
