Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate
Hello! I am Meghan Ray
Through authentic connection, vulnerability, and challenging conversations, I help you understand your needs and how your past has impacted your present; ultimately helping you cultivate hope for your future.

My Approach
I often get questions revolving around “what is therapy” or “will I be judged?” When clients first seek me out, I always focus on building rapport, helping them understand the nature of therapy, and feel comfortable talking about any conversation that may arise. I do not believe there is ever a “TMI” moment in therapy! My drive is to provide a sense of comfortability and peace in our relationship that emulates that of a deep friend, while also walking with you in a way that is accountable even when it’s not necessarily what you wanted to hear. Being challenged to grow and sitting in the uncomfortable moment allows you the opportunity to become that best version of yourself. Through the relationship building that we will do – those times of heartache, challenge and difficulty will feel like that deep vulnerable embrace you needed to move forward.
My ultimate mission for our time together is to provide my clients with grounded hope in their future selves. I promise that through the authenticity we will share, the vulnerability, education, and dedication to growth, you will leave the therapeutic space with a profound hope and peace in the person you have worked to become.

Training and Education
Through my experience I have come to specialize in working with adolescents, young adults, and couples. I believe that there is no one size fits all approach to counseling and therefore approach counseling with an eclectic lens – meaning that I use techniques from a variety of theories to inform my practice. The concepts that I most lean on Attachment Theory, Inner-self and the subconscious, emotional regulation and development of emotional awareness, as well as tenets from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I also use my Christian faith to inform and integrate into my work with clients who are looking for Christ-Centered therapy.
